  3. The SprintNet Speedup Patch will update your SprintNet file to support 115Kbps and 230Kbps operation. When used in conjunction with SerialSpeed 230, this will allow you to run your V.34 modem at its highest speed with America Online.

  5. Before patching, your original SprintNet file will be saved and renamed "SprintNet backup" so you can restore it in the event of trouble.
  6.  
  7. This patch is designed for use with AOL 3.0 Client software only. Do not patch any other version of the AOL Client software.

  9. Please do not contact America Online with support questions related to the patched SprintNet file; they cannot help you.
